OUT OF HOURS
The
practice is a member of BADGER, an out-of-hours co-operative who provide emergency care for our patients. For emergencies
between 6.30pm and 8.00am Monday to Friday or all day at weekends and bank holidays
please ring 0845 113 4433. Please do not overuse this service. Information on self-treatment
of common illnesses and accidents, given elswhere on this website, should be of
help to you.
Patients can obtain general advice via NHS Direct, a 24 hour
helpline on 0845 4647 or from their website: www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk.
Patients can also use Birmingham NHS Walk-in Centre, Lower Ground Floor, Boots
the Chemist Ltd, 66 High Street, Birmingham, B4 7TA.

EMERGENCIES
For emergency conditions such as heart attacks, severe asthma and major injuries, you should dial 999 and request an ambulance.
DISABLED ACCESS
There is a ramp at the main entrance to the surgery to give access to patients
in wheelchairs. If access into the surgery proves difficult, assistance can be
sought by ringing the doorbell. Part of the reception desk has been lowered, giving
easy access to patients in wheelchairs, and a hearing loop has been fitted. There
is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
